I was really impressed with how the Thai began the match, compensating for his lack of reach. The Thai would simultaneously slip & jab while stepping in, enabling him to get to the inside to clinch where he had a distinct advantage. However, clinching against someone larger than you is a daunting task and can quickly wear you out if you’re not in superb condition, which apparently was the Thai’s downfall. The Thai is still more effective at clinch range, but the UK fighter begins to dominate the long & medium ranges. The UK fighter finally lands a stiff straight punch to the Thai’s jaw, which momentarily stuns him. That is all the UK fighter needs to finish the Thai off with a flurry of punches, resulting in a KO.
