The Contender Asia Episode 3: The next challenge
After the informal fight between Rafik and Jaba, it seems that the following situation became so stressful no matter it is just a very normal team competition they have to do or even in the group informal discussion. This have made the audience feel exciting about what will be the solution for this. Will Rafik and Jaba gonna fight eventually? For myself, this kind of situation is really difficult to say when I could see some reaction of some members in the blue team having a little bit of feeling against what Rafik had done previously. But however, they could not repress what they actually felt to his team mate. The team competition at the gym, the red team won and got the prize for golf vacation and afterwards, there was a discussion for red team about who will pick the person from blue team. There was also strong expectation that Jaba will be the representative of the read team and pick Rafik. But it did not happen what the read team’s captain proposed himself to fight with Rafik.
Now the audience can see how the exciting of the fight will be, even though Jaba was not the person who will fight but the captain of the red team, John Wyane. It is likely that John also disagree on what Rafik did and he feel not defferent than Jaba does!! So it doesn’t matter who will fight, I believe that all people in the red team want Rafik to lose. Mean while Rafik seemed not interested in other one’s feeling even members in his owns team. What I can see interesting in this episode also about Thai words and the culture of “Wai” also used, which was really impressive for many of Thais who watching the series like me.
