Petrosyan defeats Petchmorakot at ONE: MASTERS OF DESTINY in Kuala Lumpur

On Friday, 12 July, Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan defeated two-division Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy with a unanimous decision in a rematch at ONE: MASTERS OF DESTINY in Kuala Lumpur.



The rivals faced at ONE: ENTER THE DRAGON with the kickboxing rule before, however, the ONE Competition Committee ordered a rematch for both fighters.



This fight, all three judges awarded Petrosyan with a unanimous decision. That gave “The Doctor” the 100th win of his kickboxing career, moved him one step closer to the 13 October tournament finale at ONE: CENTURY and the million dollar prize.



Next, he will face another former opponent “Smokin'” Jo Nattawut in the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix semifinals. When these two originally met in April 2018, Petrosyan won the 1st fight. Since then, Nattawut has startling improvement when they meet next fight.
